Characteristics of wine cabinets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just as there are different types of wines, there are also different cabinets for them. Cool Head Europe has a large specific product family, a line of mono- and bi-temperature cabinets, with different sizes and capacities: from the smallest, also for domestic  use, to large capacity models (400\/500 litres). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two basic types of wine cabinets, depending on the job they are going to do and the number of temperature zones: mono-temperature and bi-temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bi-temperature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In bi-temperature cabinets, the temperature in the different areas of the wine cellar can be adjusted separately. This means you can store different types of wines at the right temperature for each one. Mono-temperature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

These cabinets help the wine to mature perfectly by maintaining a constant temperature. How? By storing and preserving wines with the same ageing requirements, for which they have a single thermostat which maintains a uniform temperature throughout the entire cabinet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After you have chosen the ideal wine cabinet model according to your needs, you need to know some basic tips in order to get the most out of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These will help your wines to always be perfect when the time comes to taste them. What are these tips? Make a note of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Too much light can damage the properties of the wine <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you leave the bottle in direct sunlight, not only will its temperature rise, but the chemical reactions that could spoil the wine will also speed up. This is why the lights in wine cabinets have incandescent or LED light bulbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Cold temperatures, but not too cold<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The right temperature range is between 7 and 18 \u00baC. It is also important that this does not vary, and remains constant. Too much heat or a very sudden change in temperature can lead to the loss of certain properties such as: aromas, taste, sensations, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Humidity is necessary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have to find the right level for the preservation and storage of the wine. If the humidity levels are too high, the cork could get wet and mould could start to form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
